VFR 1200 is one of the most iconic sport tourer motorcycle in the world. It still uses the same old school Honda design language. For some the design may feel outdated but for a lot of Honda fans its still as sweet classic looking sports touring motorcycle. it also has a X variant that is an adventure tourer type motorcycle. The X variant is also have few more options to choose from.
Overview Of Honda VFR 1200F
Honda VFR 1200F is equipped with a 1237cc 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. it features a uni-cam type engine. The motor is liquid-cooled and fuel injected. The VFR 1200F is capable of producing 170 HP of maximum power that is comparatively more that its predecessor. The maximum power comes at 10,000 RPM. The engine is capable of producing 129 Nm of peak torque that comes at 8,750 RPM. The VFR 1200F has a good top end performance that allows it to cruise at high speed without any problem. VFR comes with a manual 6-speed transmission as well as a with a dual clutch automatic transmission variant. The automatic transmission variant is costlier than the manual transmission variant.
It has a dual disc brakes setup at the front and a single disc at the rear. Now it comes with anti-lock braking system option. the disc brake diameter at the front is 320 MM while at the rear the disc diameter is 276MM. the front disc caliper have 6-pistons and the rear disc has 2-piston calipers. The option to choose ABS is also avaialble in this variant.
Honda VFR 1200 uses a 43mm front forks with adjustable preload and a pro-linked gas charged monoshock.
